		<description>Nice project.  About the 1K... can it be replaced wtih a 10K?  Working with surface mount components is easier than you may think.  

Just put a blob of hot solder on both ends, remove the resistor with twezzers, clean excess solder with a copper strand and solder in a new 10K.
