Peter,

The easiest way to order 1-5 chips is straight from National. Just click the IC link in the article. They'll charge shipping, but it's not too bad. Wekk, they charge shipping to ME.
Some businesses qualify for free shipping of samples, but my personal gmail account doesn't. You need a corporate e-mail account, when you are registering with them, to qualify for free shipping.

Hi! I want to make the LM2698 usb charger but i can't find any online shop to buy only 3 ICs!! All of them require to buy at least 1000 parts?!? I live in Europe.

Ok thanks, how do I check the cut-off voltage of the cells and what would need to be changed on the circuitry to accommodate that cell? Also, do you sell the 1811 charger pre-built?

Hi Kevin, I suspect the charger circuit would work fine for the batteries you have mentioned. The important thing to check is the cut-off voltage of your cells. Some LiIon are 4.1v and some are 4.2 (most are 4.2 in my experience). The 1811 charge either, with the SELV input.

Hi, this circuit looks like what I need, but I needed to check. Would it be suitable as it is to charge a 3.7v 700mah PS3 controller battery? Also, a 3.7v 1200mah? Thanks in advance.
